Kyoungin Movement (京仁波動)

For a long time I have watched and recorded extraordinary stuffs that had been originally banal and common but were adjusted and modified by people in Incheon and Seoul. These things had been broken so discarded but reborn with other usages in life, boasting usefulness and playing their roles thanks to knack and sparkling idea of people. Ceaselessly continued wisdom of people gives a new touch of life to industrial products. They are born again with new usages overcoming their inherent features of factory-born origin. It is a good indicator of active  and imaginative powers embedded in ordinary aspect of Korean society.

경인무브망 (京仁波動)

오랜 시간 시민들이 일상에서 만들고 개량되어 사용해온 특별한 물건들을 인천과 서울을 오가며 관찰하고 기록하였다. 버려지고 부서져 쓸모없어진 것, 오랫동안 사용해서 본래 기능을 잃어버린 물건들은 시민들의 반짝이는 상상력과 솜씨, 삶의 필요와 편의에 의해 개조되어 다시 각자의 자리를 지키며 쓸모를 뽐낸다. 알게 모르게 전수해온 시민들의 지혜는 공장에서 태어난 공산품이 가진 태생적인 한계와 사회적 정의를 부수고 사물을 부활시킨다. 한국사회의 평범한 풍경에 내재된 운동성과 상상력을  읽을 수 있다.
